Effercitrate Tablets potassium citrate
Effercitrate Tablets provide effective alkalisation of urine, with a refreshing lemon and lime flavour.
Available on FP10, each tablet contains:
- 1.5g potassium citrate and 0.25g citric acid
- 14mmol potassium
- 5mmol citrate
- 0.024mmol sodium
- 7.3mg carbohydrate (0.03kcal/0.12kJ)
Offers effective relief of symptoms caused by acidic urine.
Hyacyst® PFS Range
Hyacyst® PFS (sodium hyaluronate) is indicated for the temporary replenishment of the GAG layer in the following bladder conditions: Painful Bladder Syndrome (PBS) / Interstitial Cystitis (IC), Recurrent Bacterial Cystitis, Radiation Induced Cystitis, Haemorrhagic Cystitis and Chemotherapy Induced Cystitis.
Hyacyst® PFS (Pre-Filled Syringes) are available in strengths of 40mg/50ml and 120mg/50ml sodium hyaluronate. Hyacyst® PFS packs include a catheter adaptor to enable Hyacyst® PFS to be used with a wide variety of available intermittent catheters, making them ideal for self-instillation at home.
Hyacyst® PFS can be prescribed in the Community on FP10 prescriptions.
