Since 2022, the team at iMEDicare has been scaling the highest peaks of various European nations to raise funds for a selection of their favourite charities. Their mountain adventures have so far taken them to the top of Scotland, Wales, Ireland, England, Poland – and, in August 2024 – to Greece’s Mount Mytikas, better known as Mount Olympus, mythical home of the 12 Olympian gods.

In May 2025, they added another impressive summit to their list: Mount Teide, the towering volcano in Tenerife. It's not only the highest point in Spain but also the tallest peak above sea level across all Atlantic islands.

The team isn’t stopping there. This August, they plan to tick off the highest points in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg – described by the group as “modest challenges” – before taking on Germany’s loftiest peak. They’ll then head to the Czech Republic to summit Sněžka (or Śnieżka in Polish), which reaches 1603 metres (5259 feet) and stands as the nation’s highest natural point.

As Darren Breen, Founder and Managing Director at iMEDicare, puts it:

“We’ve decided to go further and aim to climb the highest national peak in every EU country by 2030 – all in support of our three favourite charities. That gives us 4.5 years to go, and plenty more mountains to climb!”

He added, “So go on – open your purse and send a few pennies to the brilliant causes we’re backing. Our beautiful planet is there to be explored, and people living with incontinence deserve the confidence and means to enjoy it too.”
