"We started talking about bringing more art into Urology News a few months back when the idea of a competition was born as a great way to get people noticing art in their everyday working lives.
There is of course art everywhere in nature, but nowhere is it more evident than the way it exhibits the mysteries of the human form. We are fortunate to be in a line of work where beauty can be found everywhere; one just needs to look around and find it – maybe in a scan image, a microscopic world beyond the perception of the naked human eye, or perhaps an empty bed on a ward. So get your cameras out (phone cameras will do!) and get clicking to show us how you see the world of urology – remember, you don’t have to be good at creativity, it is creativity that is good for you. After all, the great power of the arts is to heal the soul." - Jay Khastgir
