Imaging updates on renal tumours, urothelial tumours, prostate, adrenal and retroperitoneal tumours are all covered in this text. Whilst aspects relating to prostate imaging are probably covered better elsewhere, what remains is a decent account nicely contained within a single text.

The main strengths are in the coverage of some of the more esoteric tumours – principally adrenal, retroperitoneal and genital (and in particular penile cancer staging). Perhaps uniquely there is a correlation between imaging, surgical anatomy as well as histology. The approach is methodical and straightforward. The result is a comprehensive guide to oncological imaging and an invaluable guide for those approaching the FRCS(Urol). Digesting the contents will go some way to making the established urologist MDT ready but those with more sub-specialist interests will inevitably benefit from more dedicated texts.
